Coming to Milan - City opportunities
Milan is both a world business centre and an important cultural centre. The Brera National Art Gallery, the la Scala Opera House, the Sforzesco Castle, Leonardo's Last Supper and the Duomo, the impressive cathedral that towers over the heart of the city, make Milan one of Europe's culture capitals. Italy's financial district and stock exchange are within walking distance of the School. The two most famous streets for international fashion, via Montenapoleone and via della Spiga, are also close by. So is Brera, the artists' neighbourood with its sophisticated boutiques and cosy restaurants. Furthermore, the worldwide renown football clubs Inter Milan and A.C. Milan play their home matches at the San Siro stadium, within close distance of the School.
Evenings in Milan offer countless opportunities for cultural and leisure activities: happy hours in friendly bars, followed by visits to auditoriums, theatres, trendy clubs, discos and concert halls regularly hosting symphony and rock concerts, operas and contemporary music events with internationally renowned artists.
Or, if you are a movie fan, you can choose from club filmmaker offerings and multiplex cinemas, often showing films in their original version. Every year a selection of titles from top international film festivals like Venice, Cannes and Locarno is presented to the public.
