It is also the seat of famous Tourism and Hotel Management schools where the classes are mostly, if not solely taught in Italian. The Italian tourism industry with its countless hotels, resorts, professional schools, travel agencies, information centres and tour operators offer job opportunities to people who come from every country.
The Accademia di Italiano has developed Italian for Tourism courses designed for people who attend or have enrolled in Tourism and Hotel Management Schools, where the classes are mostly if not solely taught in Italian. They are also designed for people who work in tourist establishments and for those who have a personal or professional interest in Tourism. The aim of these courses is to hep them gain the necessary vocabulary and terminology used in the industry.
In addition to eventual topics of specific interest for each student, the course deals with reservation and information practices, travel organization, visits and excursions.
The course concentrates on the study of the Italian language: the programme is the same as the Standard Italian Course of 20 lessons per week combined with 5 individual (5 every week) or 10 individual (10 every week) lessons. At the same time, it focuses on tailor-made lessons created to meet the language needs of students and professionals in Tourism sector.

- Course length: minimum 2 weeks
- Monday to Friday between 8.45 and 17.30 (depending on level)
- Levels: from Intermediate to Proficiency
- Group size: min 4 max 12 students
