Milano goes to the theatre Art and Music in Milan
The “Milan Goes to the Theatre” festival" , offers the opportunity to attend city theatres free of charge. The 2006/2007 edition presents a wide selection of shows: from classic to contemporary works, as well as performances for young people. The festival will include thirty shows held throughout the season, starting 11 October 2006 and ending 23 May 2007. To attend performances you must first obtain an invitation ticket, available at:

Once you have received an invitation you must make a reservation by phone; just call the theatre, whose telephone number and opening hours can be found on the invitation. The only exceptions to this rule are performances offered by the Piccolo Teatre and the Teatro Carcano. In this case, after having received an invitation you must go to the ticket office of the theatre you plan to attend and ask for a ticket there. There is only one ticket per person.
