Needs assessment
Before the course starts the Director of Studies organizes an interview with the participants in the Italian language learning scheme in order to establish the intended use of the Italian language in their working and social enviroment and the skills to be developed.
This is to fine tune the teaching programme and to adapt it to the characteristics of the students.
As a consequence, it is easier to form balanced groups sharing starting skills and common objectives.
